The Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go Portable Hard Drive offers mass storage with USB 3.0 Super Speed. The USB 3.0 interface offers up to ten times faster data transfer than the USB 2.0 (depending on the USB bus speed), allowing for extremely fast data transfer on the go. The Store ‘n’ Go Portable Hard Drive uses the USB 3.0 (one USB 3.0 interface) but is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports on computers and laptops. The unit does not require any external power supply. Simply connect and use it.

Store ‘n’ Go portable hard drives are formatted with the FAT32 file system, so they work on Windows and Mac OS. For added security, Nero BackItUp and Burn Essentials are available to back up your computer’s hard drive. BackItUp and Burn Essentials provide 3 applications in 1. Enables you to back up any files, folders, and drives at any time, or schedule automatic backups for added security.

Verbatim Store, n ‘Go portable hard drives are equipped with Green Button power saving software. The Green Button software stops the hard drive rotation when not in use, increasing efficiency and saving energy. Three power saving options are available. Switching to standby mode after 10 minutes or in steps of 10 minutes up to 120 minutes. You can also go to save mode by tapping the Green Button icon.
