The USB drive does not store passwords on your computer or in the system’s volatile memory, making storage much more secure than with software encryption. Additionally, if the device falls into the wrong hands, it will lock itself and require reformatting after 20 failed password attempts.
The Keypad Secure interface is compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems and has a USB 3.0 interface for very fast data transfer.
The package also includes a USB-A to USB-A extension cable for easier connection in hard-to-reach ports. Unlike conventional encrypted devices, it can be connected to a TV.
For an extra layer of security, Nero Backup software is included to help you back up all your files, folders and drives on your laptop or computer whenever you want. You can also schedule automatic regular backups at a specific time and day! Nero Backup is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 (not compatible with Mac OS).
